8th Annual Main Street Festival to Take Place in Downtown Dodge City

On Saturday, June 2nd Main Street Dodge City will once again host the downtown summer festival from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Downtown Dodge City along 1stand 2ndAvenue.  Held in the center of the historic downtown area, the Main Street Festival is geared toward children and their families to showcase the downtown area and familiarize the community with what local businesses have to offer.

This event will feature a variety of entertainment and activities that attracts kids and adults of all ages, as well as food and merchandise from the downtown businesses and area food vendors.  Come on down and check out the variety of Arts & Craft vendors, sign up for the children’s art competitions, take part in the variety of children’s games and activities, sit back and watch and listen to a variety of local live entertainment and enjoy the classic cars that will be on display.  Starting at 1:30 p.m. will be the Great Quack Attack, which will take place downtown along 1stAvenue and will feature the fastest river found in the Southwest, built by the Dodge City Fire Department.
