Main Street Dodge City to host 9 th Annual Trick-or-Treat Downtown

Main Street Dodge City is excited to announce the ninth annual Trick-or-Treat
Downtown event, which will be held on Saturday, October 26 th in historic Downtown
Dodge City. All children are invited downtown that morning to trick-or-treat at the 40
participating businesses from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with a $1 hamburger feed for
the first 500 people starting at 11:30 am Gunsmoke between 2 nd and 3 rd Avenue.
Pick up your Trick-or-Treat map and bag at Eisenhower Park, located at Gunsmoke and
1 st Avenue, the morning of the event. In addition to the trick-or-treating, the Annual
Downtown Scarecrow Contest will be held during the event, giving the children a chance
to vote for their favorite scarecrow display and the opportunity to enter a drawing to
win a new bicycle. This year’s Scarecrow Competition will consist of 15 scarecrow
displays by businesses and organizations from throughout the community. The bicycle
drawing will take place at 12:20 p.m. during the hamburger feed, children must be
present to win.

businesses to be involved in their community and showcase their establishments. We

invite everyone to come down and check out all the creative scarecrows that will be on
display that day.”
