As the Corona Virus continues to spread MANY events across the state have been canceled or postponed. We will be doing our best to keep this list updated for you. If an alternative date has been announced we will post it here.

Dodge City Public Library closed until further notice

Effective immediately Friendship Feast will be providing To-go meals only. Meals will be served out the South-East entrance from 1130am-1230pm. Monday through Friday.

Dodge City Community College Wellness Center is closed.

Garden City Area Chamber of Commerce – ALL March Chamber events are cancelled.

Final Friday for March has been cancelled.

Victory Electric is suspending disconnections for non payment until further notice.

Black Hills Energy is suspending disconnections for non payment until further notice.

Bath and Body works in Village Square Mall is closed for 2 weeks.

Taco Bell drive through is open but dining room is closed at this time.

McDonald’s drive through is open but the dining room is closed at this time.

Prime on the Nine is offering delivery and to go orders as their dining room is closed. Call 227-2736

Public Transportation in Dodge City is suspended at this time.

Boot Hill Museum is closed until further notice

American Legion is suspending Bingo until further notice.

All state owned casinos in Kansas will close at end of business today and will remain closed until March 31st.

Senior Center is closed but meals will still be delivered.

The Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe has cancelled all public masses.

First United Methodist Church in Dodge City has closed services to the public. Sunday services will stream online at and on 96.3 The Marshal

At this time, the municipal judge is preparing guidelines and directives regarding municipal court cases for pending appearance dates, trials, and probation check-ins.

For area schools possibly extending spring break, the Dodge City Community College will be making an announcement on changes Wednesday morning.

I Don’t Care Family Restaurant dining room will remain open. To go orders are available as well as Door Dash. The Cornhole League at I Don’t Care Family Restaurant has been cancelled along with Pool leagues being cancelled until April 31st buy the APA (pool league only).

Daylight Donuts will continue to serve patrons through the drive through but the dining area inside is closed.

United Wireless has suspended operations in their Dodge City Plaza location. Stores at the Corporate Office in Dodge City and the retail stores in Garden City and Liberal will be staffed to assist customers over the phone. Walk-in traffic will be restricted to appointment-only visits in our retail stores. Please call your local store so our customer service staff can determine if the matter can be resolved over the phone or to make an appointment if a walk-in visit is necessary.

Credit Union of Dodge City locations on Frontview and Trail will only be taking drive through transactions. The lobby is closed at this time.

VFW in Dodge City will be closed until April 7th. There will be no canteen, Bingo or Sunday Breakfasts until further notice. Officials will review on April 7th to determine how to continue.

Finney County Humane Society will be closed to the public. FCHS Animal Shelter will be open by appointment only for adoptions, reclaims, surrenders and fostering. The shelter can be contacted by calling 620-277-3725 and/or email [email protected] Hours of of business will be Tuesday – Saturday, noon to 6pm.

Ford County Humane Society Fur Ball scheduled for April 4th at I Don’t Care Family Restaurant has been postponed at this time.
