The Dodge City Days Kickoff Luncheon, brought to you by Western Plains Medical Complex and the Boot Hill Museum will start the 10-day festival off with a bang! Come help us say thank you to our sponsors and community that have helped make this great festival possible. Hosted at the NEW Boot Hill Museum, enjoy lunch in the Mariah Gallery, take a tour of the new exhibits and watch a special performance by Miss Kitty and Marshall. Additionally, Western Plains Medical Complex will present the annual Bronco Buster Award to the 2021 recipient at 12:30 p.m. Admission to the museum and lunch is $15.00 plus lapel pin. There is no better way to spend these hot summer days than splashing around at the Long Branch Lagoon. Season passholders will be entered into a drawing each time they attend and show their 2021 Dodge City Days lapel pin. Come show off your grillin’ skills at the KCBS Sanctioned Dodge City Days RIB Cookoff brought to you by the Village Square Mall! Come see some of the best chefs in the West compete for $1,000 cash. Dodge City Raceway Park will host a special racing event on Friday night, when the Sooner Late Model Series comes to town, kicking off the ‘Dodge City Days’ festivities. The Sooner Late Model Series out of Oklahoma will bring daring drivers to compete at the DCRP dirt oval along with the Stock Car and Hobby Stock Shootout. The Mod-Lights and Sport Compacts will fill out the roster for the event. Gates open at 5:00PM • Racing at 7:00PM • Tickets are $15.00 • Children under 12 are Free

 

BOOT HILL BULL FRY & BASH

The Bash is Back! Come enjoy the fantastic new facility, eat great food, listen to good music and enjoy an evening with your friends. Boot Hill Museum and Rocking M Media are excited to be your host and bring this event back to Boot Hill! Boot Hill Museum staff will prepare calf fries and pulled pork with side dishes for the first 800 people that arrive. Tickets with a lapel pin are $15 and without a pin are $18. Cash bar will be available with traditional fare and local brew. Service will begin at 7:00pm and end at 9:00pm just in time for you to join our friends at the Central Station Street dance. The ever-popular event shirts will be available for purchase at Boot Hill Museum and on the night of the event.
