Dodge City Police Arrest Teen for December Shooting

A four-month investigation into a shooting that occurred Dec. 2020, has lead to the arrest of 19-year-old  Samuel Paz-Acosta by Dodge City Police Department.

 

Dodge City Police Department announced on April 22, an arrest warrant was issued for 19-year-old Samuel Paz-Acosta for Attempted 1st Degree Murder.

 

On Dec. 27, 2020 around 7:30 p.m., DCPD officers were dispatched to the 400 block of East Spruce Street for a shooting.

 

Upon their arrival, officers found a 19-year-old Dodge City man with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

 

The shooter had fled the scene before police arrival.

 

Suspect, Paz-Acosta was apprehended yesterday and has since been booked into the Ford County Jail.
