A male suspect wanted by the Dodge City Police Department for an alleged Aggravated Battery Domestic Violence case that occurred on August 25, was arrested by the Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP) in Kiowa County on August 26.
Earlier in the day DCPD took to Facebook with a suspect description and requested citizens to be on the look out for Jordan Ray Biccum, 29. DCPD informed Biccum was wanted in connection to an alleged Aggravated Battery Domestic Violence that took place in the 2500 block of East Wyatt Earp Blvd.
A 35-year-old Dodge City woman was injured during the incident.
DCPD added that Biccum may have been in the Dodge City area working as a custom cutter and was last seen driving a 2020 white Dodge ram with unknown Kansas license plates.
It was also revealed that Biccum has an active warrant out of Amarillo, Texas for assault and is a registered sex offender.
Later that day, DCPD called off the search, stating Biccum was located in Kiowa County by the KHP and was arrested for the alleged crime.
“The DCPD would like to thank the Kiowa County Sheriff’s Office and the Kansas Highway Patrol for their assistance in this case,” said DCPD.
A case will be filed with the Ford County Attorney’s Office.
