The Kansas Food Bank announced on Sept. 15, they will conduct a Drive-Thru Mobile Food Pantry in Dodge City on Sept. 22.

This Drive-Thru Mobile Food Pantry is in partnership with Aetna and Genesis Family Health Services and will be open at the First United Methodist Church parking lot on 210 Soule Street.

The Drive-Thru Mobile Food Pantry 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Anyone in need of food assistance may attend.

Kansas Food Bank stated guests should enter the parking on the west side of the church at the bell tower and remind guests to not arrive early.

Everyone must wear a mask.

Attendees will be asked for the total number of people living in home, number of seniors and number of children in home.

“One in eight people in Kansas are considered food insecure,” said the Kansas Food Pantry. “The mobile pantry does not replace the existing pantries, rather it offers an additional safety net for households seeking food assistance.”
