Three people were treated for injuries by Finney County EMS after a rollover incident in Garden City, Kan. on August 15.

At around 12:20 p.m., a Garden City Police Department officer patrolling the area of 8th Street and Mary Street observed a rollover accident at the intersection.

Additional officers and personnel from the Garden City Fire Department and Finney County EMS were dispatched to the scene.

Upon arrival, traffic was diverted in all directions.

Investigation revealed a Dodge Magnum, driven by Cristal Dianda. 30, Garden City, was traveling westbound on Mary Street in the curbside lane.

A Toyota Rav4, driven by Mu Paw, 15, Garden City, was traveling eastbound on Mary Street and

attempted to turn north onto 8th Street.

Paw failed to yield and turned in front of Dianda, and the Dodge Magnum struck the Toyota Rav4 on the passenger side, causing the vehicle to roll over. The Toyota Rav4 also hit a Saturn Outlook, stopped at the intersection before coming to rest on its driver side.

Paw and another passenger had to be extricated from the vehicle.

“The occupants from all three vehicles were evaluated and treated for minor injuries at the scene by Finney County EMS,” said GCPD in a press release.
